Description: The College of New Rochelle, founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order, is an independent College, which is Catholic in origin and heritage. Its primary purpose is the intellectual development of persons through the maintenance of the highest standards of academic excellence and educational growth. The College consists of 7, 000 students in four schools: School of Arts and Sciences, (for women only), School of Nursing, School of New Resources, (for adults only), and Graduate School. The College of New Rochelle's main campus is located in Westchester County, just north of New York City.
